AgentsLab raises €750,000 from Impacto Group for AI coworkers that automate business processes

Amsterdam-based AgentsLab has received a €750,000 investment from Impacto Group B.V., the investment vehicle of entrepreneur Eelco Vissinga. With AgentsLab's platform, organizations can have full business processes executed by AI-driven digital coworkers: from invoice processing and order handling to recruitment and service requests. The company focuses on Dutch SMEs and the mid-market, where the pressure on operational teams is highest.

From tool to coworker

AgentsLab was founded in 2024 by three former consultants from Capgemini Invent: Guido Rademakers, Ruben Teekens and Daan Kepel. The company saw that generic AI tools were failing to help companies with what actually matters: fully taking over time-consuming processes. Where chatbots and copilots wait for instructions, AgentsLab's digital coworkers take the lead themselves. They watch deadlines, chase approvals, switch between systems and escalate when needed, always with a human in the deciding role.

“We believe the future of work is hybrid: teams of humans and AI coworkers operating together,” says Daan Kepel, co-founder of AgentsLab. “Our approach is fundamentally different from what's available on the market today. We embed in the customer's team until the agent functions on its own.”

Digital coworkers in production

AgentsLab's digital coworkers now run 24/7 at more than 20 organizations across construction, wholesale, retail and finance. Together they processed roughly 300,000 cases last year; this year AgentsLab expects that number to grow to more than 1.5 million. Customers put the AI coworkers to work on invoice processing, order handling, service requests and more. The platform integrates seamlessly with existing business systems like AFAS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Exact, without organizations having to build new applications.

Three in four customers scale beyond their first digital coworker into additional processes. From first conversation to an operational AI coworker averages eight weeks.

Growth ambitions with new funding

With the investment from Impacto Group, AgentsLab is accelerating on three fronts: further development of the platform, expansion of the team and the build-out of a national partner network. Through this ecosystem of implementation partners, consulting and IT firms can put AgentsLab's digital coworkers to work at their own customers.
