The Role:
Swap textbooks for production LLMs: at AgentsLab you’ll help us craft “AI colleagues” that handle real sales, finance and HR workflows for Dutch scale-ups and enterprises. You’ll sit one desk away from the founders, designing AI-driven automations that really ship—and demoing them to customers the same week.
What will you do?
Blueprint tomorrow’s workflows: map a client’s process, slice it into modular steps and decide where API calls, databases, or an LLM bring the most lift.
Test what’s next: AI moves fast. You play around and test the latest tech, from MCP’s to vector databases. Figure out new ways that actually boost our AI colleague’s accuracy and speed.
Steer the brain: fine-tune prompts, guardrails and decision policies so our AI colleagues stay “on-rails,” speak their users’ language and hands off crystal-clear output consistently to the next workflow step.
Tie front- and back-end together: spin up small Svelte components so users see crisp, actionable output at every human-in-the-loop checkpoint.
Co-run demo days with the founders: at a nine-month-old startup, we all present to customers 🙂
Why you will love it here:
Learn by building: got a savvy way of doing things smarter? We reserve time for you to explore new models & tools, or spin up your next (AI) colleague for internal use.
Real product ownership: you’ll build and ship workflows that teams use every day, far beyond typical student sandbox projects.
Mentors on speed-dial: three ex-consultant founders coach you on architecture, product, and storytelling.
Hybrid freedom: work from our new Amsterdam office in the AI Foundry (5min from Station Zuid) or remotely; we care about outcomes, not desk time.
Competitive package. Market-rate hourly pay, travel reimbursement, laptop of choice, and fun friday afternoons 😏.
Who we are looking for:
A growth mindset. You’re eager to learn, test, break things, and iterate.
Comfortable in Python, knowledge of APIs is a plus.
Curiosity for LLM tooling and systems thinking.
Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
Min. of 16 hours/week availability for at least 4 months.
